Granada Meet and Greet – June

Always something new at Granada Meet and Greet

By Melissa B. Lombardo

There are so many happenings in Granada that it is hard to keep up with all of the happenings.

At the most recent 1st Friday Granada Meet and Greet we welcomed 56 new and old members alike and lots of connections were made, Atlier Favela  (www.atelierfavela.org) gave a great presentation and brought examples of their recycled ‘’boot’’ bags. We met Los Pipitos (www.lospipitos.org) and La Esperanza Granada, (www. la-esperanza-granada.org) both great projects working to create positive change.

Highlighting some of the participation, this month we met, Gems Tours (www.gemtours.net), as well as the Association of Granada Guides, Aurora Real Estate (www.aurorabeachfront.com), EU Gourmet (www.eugourmet.com), The Pulsera Project (www.pulseraproject.org), Hotel Spa Granada (www.hotelspagranada.com) Nica Noticias (www.) Coralillo Arte y Diseño (www.facebook.com/CoralilloArtDesign), Centro de Arte La Calzada (http://www.nicaragua-art.com), Dr. and Surgeon Inti Lautaro Soza Morales (drintism@gmail.com), and Victor Manuel a local dancer teacher specializing in traditional and modern dance, as well as many local community members enjoyed a complimentary drink with great music sponsored by Kevin Cohen, owner of Imagine Bar and Restaurant and sponsor.  There were so many connections made as well as different community announcements.  Please visit our Facebook page to view the photos, the community announcements as well as post your own.  If you would like to host a Meet and Greet at your business, or write a community news article we want to talk with you.

Granada Meet and Greet and Greets are meant to be fun and we encourage participation from our members.

If you would like to be on our mailing list, please contact Melissa Lombardo and Fatima Quiroz granadameetandgreet@gmail.com.  Space is limited and an RSVP is necessary.  Hope to see you next month on Friday, July 5th at 4pm, at Ciudad Lounge.

I would like to find a private Spanish tutor for two months. I am thinking of 2 hours per day, 5 days a week. Also what options do I have in terms of renting a place to stay.
