One Of Our Greatest Gifts Is Our Health

By Dr. Jerry Lee Hoover N.D.

How precious is one’s health?  We cannot put a price on it.  Let me share an example with you to get my point across.  John is a man who has always taken his health for granted, he rarely gets sick, only time he has been in the hospital was at his birth.  John is now 53 years old and has spent most of his life pursuing one cause and that was to make a lot of money, which he has successfully done and is now a multi-millionaire, this has been his number one priority in life until last month.

John for the last few months has not been feeling well and finally he went to see a Doctor for the first time in his life, because he has always been well.  After a week and a half of taking many medical tests his Doctor gave John the bad news, he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has spread to other parts of his body and is to far advanced for chemo or surgery.  He possibly has around 6 months or less to live.  All of a sudden John’s priority has drastically changed from making money to being healthy again, something that John for 53 years had taken for granted.  Yes money had given John all the things he had wanted, houses, cars, vacations, popularity, etc.  But now with maybe six months to live these no longer seemed important to John, now John finally realizes that one of the greatest gifts we are given is our health and he had always taken his for granted.

Have you taken your health for granted?  We do not know what this new year has in store for us.  Do we have our priorities in there right order?  If we value our health than we need to be taking care of our health.  In my many years as a Doctor I have noticed that the older individuals are the less careful they are with maintaining their health, they become over weight, exercise less, and continue eating many unhealthy foods that they ate when they were younger.  They for some reason do not realize that the older you become the more careful you need to be with your diet, your exercise, your weight, etc. And sad to say many do not realize this until they have had a heart attack or stroke or become diabetic, or like John come down with cancer.

Today is a new day in a new year, my prayer is that today each one that is reading this article will decide to make their health a number one priority so that they can have many more years of Happy, Healthy living.  Start by learning how to take care of your health, how to lose weight, how to start an exercising program, how to eat a more natural healthful diet, etc.  Below is a link where you can down load my free book NATURAL MEDICINE, which has 47 chapters on how to stay healthy. I wrote this book over 20 years ago, it has been translated into four Languages and has helped, I do not know how many thousands around the world as I have around 8,000 visits from over 140 countries each month to my web site that offers my free book.

Don’t be a John, today you have another chance to put your priorities straight.  The title of this article was One Of Our Greatest Gifts Is Our Health  I have to mention that for me the greatest gift of all is a relationship with our Creator, than followed by my health.

Your garlic and lime treatment finally got rid of my chikungunya. I also found that applying lime juice to my toe nails completely got rid of the fungus. Thanks for your good works by sharing your knowledge with others
